Register Today for FireMon’s Real-Time Data Triage and Immediate Insights 11/5 Event

Commercial and Government organizations alike are wrestling with the challenges revolving around ad hoc and real-time data analytics. Deriving timely and actionable insight from data is key to achieving a wide range of mission goals. However, analysts and data scientists are inundated with massive volumes of data, and left to sort through it to derive mission specific value. There are many tools in the market that claim to address this problem, but this abundance of tools leads to functional gaps that customers must address.

Join FireMon and Cognitio for an active discussion around the status of the analytic tools market, the gaps that exist, and some new tools that have surfaced to help you address these gaps and meet your mission objectives. We're meeting at the Tower Club on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at 8:00 AM.  Breakfast will be served.

Seats are limited, so please register at http://www.eventbrite.com/e/real-time-data-triage-and-immediate-insights-tickets-18864775050

More on the event:

Whether you’re analyzing network traffic, correlating activity across log data, or identifying and tracking themes in social media data, Immediate Insight helps you:

  •  Get the data – Spend time analyzing the data not preparing it to be analyzed
  •  Analyze the Data – Quickly spot anomalies and non-obvious associations across data sets
  •  Explore the Data – Use natural-language query to dig deeper
  •  Collaborate in the Data – Tag data with mission specific insight to enhance learning and contribution

With Immediate Insight you can re-focus your greatest assets, your experts, back on what is most important to the organization: deriving mission focused value from high volume, perishable data.

Jeff Barker, Vice President of Product Management with FireMon, will lead the discussion. Breakfast will be served.

Jeff Barker, VP of Product Management at FireMon:

Jeff, as VP of Product Management at FireMon, is continuing his pursuit of making data analysis more accessible. Prior to FireMon, Jeff began his current quest by co-founding Immediate Insight (acquired by FireMon). He leverages 25 years of successes and failures in creating and developing markets, driving product strategy, and leading teams in both startup and public networking and security companies to create a new breed of data analysis required to discover the unknown in today’s mobile, virtual, and cloud-enabled environments.

There is no fee to attend. Food and beverages will be provided, and are estimated at less than $20 per person. For attendees who are subject to restrictions in the acceptance of free food or refreshments, a "fair share box" will be available to allow for payment of such items. US Government attendees should seek guidance from designated agency ethics officials as to whether acceptance of free food and refreshments is permitted under agency "widely attended gathering" rules (WAG). 5 CFR 2635.204(g). Other gift exceptions under 5 CFR 2635.204 may also apply.
