Cognitio Cloud Transition and Cyber Assessment Offerings Available on Major Government Wide Acquisition Contract CIO-CS

Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC) are pre-competed vehicles that enable any government agency to buy cost-effective, innovative solutions to meet information technology requirements. These vehicles are easy and fast for government to use, offering quick access to qualified IT service providers via streamlined contracting.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) Chief Information Officer- Commodities and Solutions (CIO-CS) GWAC was designed to cover everything IT related, including technology products and related engineering for solutions. This contact provides ease of use to government agencies, and delivers offerings where best available prices have already been negotiated. Offerings have also been engineered to be quickly delivered, and the contract vehicle itself was designed with speed in mind.

Cognitio is happy to announce two offerings available on the CIO-CS contract via our partners, Computer Marketing Associates (CMA):

  1. Cloud Transition Engineering and
  2. Security Engineering and Assessments

Cloud Transition Engineering: Government IT and mission organizations with cloud transition activities underway can leverage the CIO-CS vehicle for engineering services to accelerate the prioritized transition of legacy applications into cloud environments leveraging Cognitio's Cloud Engineering Assessments, Cloud Adoption Engineering Plans, and Cloud Deployed Remediation Engineering Assessments. These structured assessments are offered in tiers that adjust to any program size.

Security Engineering and Assessments: Security Engineering is a critical requirements for preventing the unauthorized access of government IT systems. Government IT and mission organizations can now order cybersecurity engineering services via the CIO-CS GWAC, including engineering assessments tailored to small, medium and large programs. These assessments, which use approaches consistent with the NIST cybersecurity framework and proven industry best practices, deliver actionable insights for project engineering and leadership actions.

Cognitio's Cloud Engineering and Security Engineering offerings can be ordered using NIH CIO-CS Contract number HHSN316201500052W. For more information on these offerings and how to easily leverage this GWAC for your mission, contact Matt Southmayd of Cognitio at matt.southmayd@cognitiocorp.com or John Frey of CMA at jfrey@cmai.com
